Things to Do In and Around Rossmoor

Within the small Rossmoor planned community, there’s a gas station, AAA service, Boot Barn, a center for family medicine, a flower shop, The Original Fish Company, Polly’s Pies, Rossmoor Gourmet Liquor and Deli, and the Rossmoor Car Wash and Detail.

The Rossmoor Homeowners Association sponsors an annual Rossmoor Community Festival that features parades, a car show, concerts, rides for the little ones, games, entertainment, and a garden club event.

In addition to the Rossmoor Annual Community Festival, the Rossmoor Homeowners Association also hosts the High School Scholarship Awards as well as the yearly Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration and Winter Festival.

Other active local organizations include the Rossmoor Homeowners Association, Rossmoor Women’s Club, Rossmoor Walk & Talk, and the Friends of the Library.

There are two parks in Rossmoor, Rush Park, and Rossmoor Park, as well as dozens of parks in surrounding areas. The parks serve as venues for events like Movies in the Park, Concerts, a Shakespeare festival, as well as live performances under the stars.

The Shops at Rossmoor-Seal Beach houses stores like Kohl’s, Marshall’s, Petsmart, Chicos, and more. Also, the shopping center offers a variety of eateries including Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, In-N-Out Burger, California Pizza Kitchen, and more.

The Los Alamitos-Rossmoor branch of the Orange County Public Libraries provides more than just books to read. Take a class, join a group, watch a movie, choose from ebooks and audiobooks, access computers, and more.

While there are no golf courses situated within Rossmoor’s boundaries, there are dozens of public and private golf courses and country clubs nearby.
